KINESIOLOGY (MUSCLE TESTING)
The following video was produced by the Association of Systematic Kinesiology (now known as the Kinesiology Association) in order to explain how kinesiology testing is carried out.
Kinesiology originated in the 1960s from chiropractic practice and then combining modern Western complementary techniques with the Eastern knowledge of the body’s subtle energy networks. It is a safe, natural, holistic therapy suitable for everyone from infants to the elderly. It is a form of biofeedback which uses gentle muscle testing to access the body’s complex systems but does not diagnose. These systems are responsible for the body’s function and well being, keeping it in balance despite the numerous daily stresses imposed upon it. Kinesiology enables investigation into imbalances BEFORE, AS and AFTER they manifest themselves as problems and brings the body back to a state of homeostasis.
Kinesiology balancing may be helpful with:
Muscular and skeletal problems
Emotional trauma, fears and phobias
Hormonal imbalances
Digestive tract disorders
Allergies and food sensitivities
Nutritional requirements
Improved co-ordination
Stress and anxiety
As part of the treatment, light massage of various points on the body by the client, nutrition, Phytobiophysic flower or tree formulas, Aura-Soma or other natural remedies may be used.
